Overview
We are seeking an experienced CRM Functional Data Migration Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE). The ideal candidate will lead CRM initiatives, guide data migration activities, and drive functional solution design across complex, enterprise‑level implementations. Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).
• Manage Dynamics 365 CE project activities, including requirement gathering, architecture definition, integration design, solution development, and testing.
• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
• Provide leadership to functional and technical teams implementing and optimizing CE solutions.
• Conduct detailed business analysis to understand customer service processes and requirements.
• Design functional solutions leveraging Dynamics 365 CE capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with contact center applications and self‑service portals.
• Collaborate with technical leads, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Define integration requirements for CE with contact center applications, mobile apps, self‑service portals, ERP systems, and payment gateways.
• Support and deliver end‑user training programs to enhance adoption and effective utilization.
• Ensure solutions meet business needs, align with best practices, and provide smooth data flow across systems.
• Drive user adoption through effective change management practices.
• Provide ongoing functional support and continuous optimization for CE solutions.
• Identify opportunities for system improvement and user experience enhancement.
• Configure Dynamics 365 CE applications as required, coordinating with technical leads and developers.
• Prepare complete documentation, including functional/technical designs, diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analysis, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Build strong working relationships with IT teams, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and clients.
• Participate and lead project team activities for enterprise-level system initiatives.
• Work independently while adhering to PTC standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize software tools and technologies essential for the role.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the PTC.
Experience & Knowledge Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience implementing Dynamics 365 CE (Customer Service module) in functional roles.
• At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and functional solution design.
• Advanced functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE with a proven track record of successful complex project deliveries.
• Experience managing and delivering enterprise-scale CE projects with complex integrations.
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CE customization, configuration, and user management.
• Hands-on experience with Contact Center applications (Telephony, IVR, etc.) and self-service platforms.
• Familiarity with integrating CE with ERP systems and payment gateways.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred (not mandatory).
• Must have at least one of the following certifications/recognitions:
- MS Dynamics Fast Track recognized Architect for Biz Apps
- Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP)
