Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Business Analyst to support planning, requirement gathering, process optimization, and solution design for the UBOS program. This role requires strong analytical, process‑mapping, and documentation skills with experience in financial processes, enterprise systems, and government/public sector projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform Business Analyst responsibilities during planning and requirements-gathering phases.
• Facilitate discussions with business leaders to elicit As‑Is process flows, requirements, and insights for reengineering financial posting, payments, refunds, and reconciliation processes within UBOS.
• Conduct reviews comparing current processes with industry best practices to identify required process or system changes.
• Anticipate the direction of PTC business areas and recommend new processes that align with UBOS objectives.
• Translate business requirements into Service Blueprints, Business Process Flow diagrams, Agile Features, User Stories, and support technical specification development.
• Enter, update, and track Blueprints, Process Flows, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Visually model information collected during elicitation sessions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze existing systems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify and define KPIs, business rules, data sources, ownership, and visualization needs.
• Collaborate effectively with technology teams, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and clients.
• Stay current with industry and technology trends to drive innovation.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Complete work in alignment with PTC and PMO guidelines.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, scripts, and plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Support training and user adoption by preparing relevant materials.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Lead and participate in enterprise system project activities.
• Work independently to accomplish assigned duties.
• Adhere to all PTC standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use relevant software and technology tools to perform role responsibilities.
• Perform additional tasks and duties assigned by PTC.
Technical Areas Within Scope
• Reporting – Tolling and non-tolling reporting across internal and external users.
• Transaction Processing – All aspects related to tolling and non-tolling customer transactions.
• Billing & Invoicing – Ensuring correct fiscal accounting for all transactions.
• Collections & Toll Enforcement – Processes related to unresolved customer payments.
• Financial Posting & Reconciliation – Accounting processes for billing, invoicing, and fiscal matters.
• Payments – Supporting multi-channel customer payment solutions.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – Experience with Microsoft CE CRM preferred; experience with modern CRMs considered.
• SAP S/4HANA – Experience with BRIM, FICA, Convergent Mediation, Analytics Cloud preferred; modern ERP experience acceptable.
• Data Migration – ETL processes for multi-phase data migration to UBOS.
Desired Skillset
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst on government/public sector projects, ideally covering 3+ of the above technical areas.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in BA tools and techniques.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) preferred.
• Additional beneficial skills include:
- Enterprise financial system project experience
- ITIL / ITSM methodologies
Minimum Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in technology-driven environments.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Figma).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.
Certifications / Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience as determined by PTC.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Flexibility to work in the 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST shift supporting US-based operations.
